ANAHIEM ZONE

Honda Center

The Honda Center is best known as the home of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks and has hosted major touring acts such as Taylor Swift, Metallica, and The Rolling Stones. It will stage indoor volleyball during the 2028 Summer Games. The venue can accommodate over 18,000 spectators and remains one of Orange County’s most recognized sports and entertainment hubs.

ARCADIA ZONE

Santa Anita Park

Santa Anita Park is a historic thoroughbred racetrack in Arcadia that has been a central venue for horse racing since it opened in 1934. It will host the equestrian competitions during the 2028 Summer Games. The venue is set against the San Gabriel Mountains, giving it one of the most recognizable backdrops of any sporting location in Southern California.

CARSON ZONE

Carson Velodrome

The Carson Velodrome, officially the VELO Sports Center, is the only indoor velodrome in the United States that meets the standards for Olympic-level cycling. It will hold track cycling during LA28. The venue hosts national championships and serves as a key training base for USA Cycling.

Carson Stadium

Carson Stadium, known as Dignity Health Sports Park, is home to the LA Galaxy and was the venue for the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final. It will stage rugby sevens and Olympic archery during Summer Games 2028. The stadium is one of the most active soccer venues in the country and is regularly used for international friendlies and professional matches.

Carson Field

Carson Field serves today as the training grounds for the LA Galaxy and other athletic programs within the larger Carson sports complex. It will host field hockey during the 2028 LA Summer Games. The site will be transformed into a temporary competition venue for the Games, built on existing turf and infrastructure that already supports regional and professional-level sport.

Carson Courts

The natural elevation changes and open hillside layout provide the kind of technical climbs and descents that define Olympic-level mountain bike racing.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (DTLA) ZONE

Peacock Theatre

Peacock Theatre is a large indoor venue in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, known for hosting major award shows, televised productions, concerts, and special events. It will stage boxing preliminaries and weightlifting during the 2028 Summer Games. The theater holds one of the largest indoor stages in the United States, making it a natural fit for high-profile live broadcasts and Games-time competition.

LA Convention Center Hall 3

LA Convention Center Hall 3 sits within the larger Los Angeles Convention Center, one of the most visited event facilities in Southern California. Since its opening in 1971, the center has drawn millions of attendees each year. Hall 3 will host table tennis during the 2028 Summer Games.

LA Convention Center Hall 2

LA Convention Center Hall 2 is also located within the Los Angeles Convention Center. DTLA Arena (Crypto.com Arena)

DTLA Arena is a major indoor venue in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and regularly hosts basketball games, concerts, and large entertainment events. EXPOSITION PARK ZONE

LA Memorial Coliseum

2028 Stadium, also known as SoFi Stadium, is home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and is one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the country. It will host the Opening Ceremony and swimming events during the 2028 Summer Games. Since opening in 2020, the venue has become a major destination for large-scale concerts, championship games, and international events.

LONG BEACH ZONE

Marine Stadium

Marine Stadium is a historic stretch of water originally built for rowing during the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, making it one of the oldest Olympic competition sites still in active use. It will host rowing and canoe sprint during the 2028 Summer Games. The long, straight waterway continues to serve both competitive and recreational rowing in Long Beach.

Long Beach Target Shooting Hall

Long Beach Target Shooting Hall is a temporary indoor venue within the Long Beach Convention Center site. It will be the competition location for shooting events at the 2028 LA Summer Games. The hall is part of a cluster of temporary venues designed specifically for indoor precision sports.

Long Beach Climbing Theater

The Long Beach Climbing Theater is a temporary venue located within the Long Beach Convention Center complex. It will stage sport climbing during the 2028 Summer Games. Long Beach has hosted several regional climbing events in recent years, giving the sport a growing local presence.

Long Beach Arena

TRESTLES BEACH ZONE

Trestles State Beach

Trestles State Beach is a California State Park along the Pacific Coast and is widely regarded as one of the world’s premier surfing destinations. It will be the surfing venue for the 2028 Summer Games, hosting shortboard competitions for men and women. Known for its long, consistent waves and natural setting near San Onofre, Trestles has staged major events such as the World Surf League Finals and sits at the heart of Southern California’s surf culture.

UNIVERSAL CITY ZONE

Comcast Squash Center at Universal Studios

The Comcast Squash Center is located on the Universal Studios lot and brings a new Olympic sport into one of LA’s most recognizable destinations. It will host squash during the 2028 Summer Games. The venue sits within a working studio lot, giving visitors a rare chance to see an area of Universal Studios not typically open to the public.

VALLEY ZONE

Valley Complex 4

Valley Complex 4 transforms part of the Valley’s open recreation space into a Olympic-standard BMX Racing track. It will stage BMX Racing during the 2028 LA Summer Games. The course will incorporate natural elevation changes and sharp berms to create a challenging, high-speed layout.

Valley Complex 3

Valley Complex 3 will host 3×3 Basketball during the 2028 Summer Games. The venue is being designed as a temporary octagonal arena that lets spectators see the full pace of play from all angles.

Valley Complex 2

Valley Complex 2 sits within the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area, Los Angeles’s second-largest urban park. It will be used for Modern Pentathlon and Skateboarding Park at the 2028 LA Summer Games. The open space allows for the varied layouts needed for both the multi-discipline pentathlon format and the bowl-style elements of a skate park course.

Valley Complex 1

Valley Complex 1 is part of a group of multi-sport fields in the San Fernando Valley that support outdoor recreation and community programs. It will host BMX Freestyle and Skateboarding Street during the 2028 Summer Games. WHITTIER NARROWS ZONE

Whittier Narrows Clay Shooting Center

Whittier Narrows Clay Shooting Center is located within the Wittier Narrows Recreation Area in the San Gabriel Valley. It will host shotgun shooting events during the 2028 Summer Games. The center is recognized as one of Southern California’s busiest shooting ranges, making it a natural choice for Olympic-level competition.
