Tokyo is Japan’s most populated city and actually the world’s most populous metropolis, rich in culture, entertainment, and especially food. Tokyo is broken up into districts within the city. Some of our favorite areas are Ginza for shopping, Rippongi and Shimbashi for food and nightlife, and Harajuku for culture and architecture. 

One of the greatest features of Tokyo is their organized subway system. If you’re familiar with using subways, Tokyo has one of the best, easily getting you from one part of the city to the other seamlessly, which will definitely come in handy during the Games. 

While Tokyo is known for sushi, and has one of the largest concentration of Michelin Star restaurants, we urge you in branching out to try a variety of different types of food like Yakitori, Tempura, and Ramen. Tokyo is also known as a high-tech modern city, with a concentration of electronic stores, arcades and pet cafes in the Akihabara district. Japan is rich in a variety of cultural experiences and the perfect venue for the Games.
