Destination Highlights Augusta

Dave here from the On Point Events Team and welcome to another short video on destination highlights for Augusta Georgia, the location for the Masters golf tournament. 

Augusta is located about 150 miles east of Atlanta and is the second largest and oldest city in Georgia, situated on the banks of the Savannah River. Augusta is known for its Southern Hospitality and an abundance of amazing golf courses, with the crowned jewel being Augusta National Golf Club, which is one of the most exclusive clubs in the world, and the host to the Masters Golf Tournament. When visiting Augusta you can expect the food scene to be full of southern comfort food and fresh seafood. There is a great mix of staple restaurants that have been in Augusta for many years as well as new and exciting restaurants. The Masters happens in April every year so you can expect to see vibrant azaleas on the golf course and around the city, which is one of the features that Augusta National is known for.
