Preferred Seating for the Summer Games

The seating at the various venues at the Summer Games are pre-determined by the Event Organizers and generally set up according to price categories. Some venues will have up to 3, 4 or more price categories. Although all categories will provide a great Games experience, these designations can be very broad. Please use the breakdown and descriptions below to determine the desired category of seating:

Category Premium A – For the most discerning spectator, these are Category A seats located in the most prime areas of the stadium, on the sides and in the lower level.
Category A – Generally located on the sides upper or mid-level.
Category B – Generally located in the corners either upper or lower-level.
Category C/D/E – Entry level seating to the event. Generally located on the ends either upper or lower level.

Day 1 – July 23rd, 2020 (Arrival)

  • Airport Meet and Greet upon Arrival to Tokyo
  • Private Transfer to Hotel of your choice
  • Meet with your On Point Events Host to review your personalized itinerary, ask questions or make any request.
  • Explore Tokyo at leisure
  • Return to hotel, relax and prepare for a nice dinner.

Day 2 – July 24th, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Depart for your half day private guided tour of the city – Customized specifically for you (included in all programs).
  • In the evening, transfer to the Stadium for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2020 Summer Games.
  • Transfer to the hotel

Day 3 – July 25th, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Depart for a half day private guided tour with a stop by a Sumo Stable to watch Sumo Wrestling Practice, followed by a tour of Tsukiji Fish Market
  • Return to the hotel to freshen up
  • Transfer to Shiokaze Park to watch Beach Volleyball (Men’s and Women’s Preliminaries)
  • Return to hotel, relax and prepare to head to Shimbashi for a night of cultural exploring.

Day 4 – July 26th, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Transfer to Odaiba for a full day of events including Gymnastics and Swimming
  • Return to hotel, relax and prepare to head Golden Gai. Indulge in the festive city district famed for its narrow winding alleys and numerous snug taverns

Day 5 – July 27th, 2020 

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Depart for a full day private tour exploring Hama Rikyu and the Imperial Palace Gardens. Next set off to Akihabara and discover a side of Tokyo you won’t see in the guidebooks
  • Return to hotel, relax and prepare to head out for dinner at Ginza Kojyu, on of Tokyo’s many Michelin-Starred restaurants

Day 6 – July 18th, 2020 

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Head out to the Saltama Super Arena to see one on the latest Olympic Sports: Basketball 3 x 3
  • Next its time to head to Nippon Budokan to take in all the action of a Japanese favorite: Judo
  • Return to hotel for an early night

Day 7 – July 29th, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Depart for your post trip extension to Kyoto via Shinkansen bullet train
  • Check in to your new hotel in Kyoto, relax and prepare for a special evening tour of the Gion Geisha & Maiko District. Finish the evening with a special dinner at Hajime
  • Return to your hotel

Day 8 – July 30th, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Full Day Private Tour of Kyoto visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Nijo Castle, The Golden Pavilion, and the Heian Shrine
  • Return to your Hotel before departing for a delicious seasonal dinner at Lida

Day 9 – July 31st, 2020

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Full Day Private Tour of the Kyoto Highlights. Visit the Kiyomizu Temple with panoramic views of Kyoto, walk through Higashiyama district with quaint shops selling local souvenirs, then to Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine – Kyoto’s most popular Shinto Shrine – finally finish the day with a special tea ceremony
  • Return to your hotel

Day 10 – August 1st, 2020 (Departure)

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Private Transfer to Osaka International Airport (Itami)
  • Return home
